Re-Evaluations

The Purpose of Re-evaluations and When They Are Performed

Re-evaluations are important so that progress can be monitored to make sure we are headed in the right direction. Re-evaluations may be deemed necessary for a number of reasons including, but not limited to:

  1. The end of the care plan has been reached
  2. A new event/trauma has been introduced or there has been a drastic change in presentation
  3. Progress is going slower than expected and adjustments are not holding between visits
  4. Progress is going better than expected and holding adjustments regularly

When re-evaluations are performed, we will go over any positive findings and limitations that were discovered during the previous exam as well as any new concerns that need to be addressed. Imaging of the spine may also be reviewed again or new imaging might be deemed necessary. Changes to in-office care,  home care, or collaborative care will also be discussed if the need arises to help promote better outcomes.
